Our Novel Automated CPR Device
Building on our groundbreaking research into a combinatorial chest and abdominal compression-decompression technique grounded in venous backflow theory, our novel device demonstrates the potential to significantly enhance cardiac output. This innovation holds great promise for improving survival rates in patients experiencing cardiac arrest.
Instrumented Multi-Organ CPR Manikin:
Our team has designed and developed an advanced, instrumented multi-organ blood circulation system. Featuring state-of-the-art elastomeric chambers actuated externally --> through multiple mechanisms, this manikin accurately replicates various CPR paradigms and their resulting cardiac outputs—enabling researchers to efficiently test and evaluate --> resuscitation methods with precision.
Augmented CPR + Real-Time AR CPR Training:
A real-time, augmented reality–based training application that integrates our proprietary IoT device to deliver immediate feedback on CPR performance, displayed directly through AR goggles.
Open-Source Cardiovascular Model for Resuscitation Research:
A key outcome of our research is an open-source cardiovascular model developed in Simscape. This model accurately mimics cardiac arrest conditions.
